It's an awesome site that lets you know when your favorite bands, artists, performers.. etc. are coming into town.
I signed up about three years ago and it emails me to notify when my favorite band is coming to my town, where they are performing and helps me find tickets so I can purchase them right away.
I don't always buy tickets to my favorite bands shows, but it's just nice to know when one of your favorite bands are coming into town.
However... about a week ago I got an email from eventful and opened it on my smart phone while I was doing some homework.

I was so excited and knew I had to go with my girlfriends. Then a brilliant idea popped into my head.
My best friend Grace bought me tickets to see The Red Hot Chili Peppers for my 21st birthday last year. I was so happy/excited/thankful for the present because I love RHCP. So since she's turning 21 this year I thought it would be fitting if I got a ticket as a birthday present for her and threw one more ticket in for our other best friend, Erin.
So on May 19th, at the Aragon ballroom it's about to get wild.
I am so happy that I've been on a Shins binge lately.. so if you haven't heard of them you should give it a chance.
